1. The short version

I collect what I need to take your order, make your work and reply to you. I do not sell your data. I do not send marketing email unless you ask for it. The photographs you send me are used for your project and nothing else.

The rest of this page is the detail, and it is worth reading if you are sending me photographs of yourself or your family.

2. Who is responsible for your data

One Stop Shop Designz, Chicago, Illinois, United States.

Contact for anything on this page: email@onestopshopdesignz.com.

3. Photographs — read this one

A lot of what I do involves photographs of real people, so this deserves its own section rather than a line in a list.

Photo restoration and Past & Present work. You send me family photographs, often of people who have died. I use them to do the restoration or the merge you have asked for. I do not use them for anything else, I do not put them in my portfolio unless you have said I can, and I do not share them with anyone except a service I need to complete your order (see section 6).

Stream packages. The Custom Stream Intros product asks for a number of photographs of your face from several angles. Those photographs are used to build your intro and for nothing else.

How long I keep them. I delete the photographs you send me 15 days after delivery.

You can ask me to delete them sooner, at any time, and I will.

4. What I collect, and why

When you place an order

Your name, email address, billing address, shipping address if the order is printed, what you ordered, and your order history. This is handled by WooCommerce and stored on this site.

I need it to take the order, make the work, ship printed goods, send you receipts, and keep tax records.

Payment details

Your card details go directly to WooPayments (Stripe), Stripe, PayPal and Amazon Pay. They do not pass through this site and I never see or store your full card number. I can see the last four digits and whether the payment succeeded.

When you send me a message

The contact form asks for your name, email, project type, budget range and your message. The 2KTop5 form asks for your name, email, message and your X.com username. The Order Received form takes your name, email, message and your uploaded files.

Submissions are emailed to me and stored on this site so a message does not get lost. I keep enquiries for two years.

Files you upload

See section 3. Also logos, brand assets, reference images, music, and anything else you send me for a project.

If you leave a product review

Your name, whatever rating and comment you leave, and your email address. The name and the review are public. The email address is not.

Automatically, when you visit

Like almost every website, my host records your IP address, browser, and which pages you looked at, in server logs. This is used for security and to keep the site working.

This site uses Google Analytics, installed through the MonsterInsights plugin, to understand how visitors use the site. It records things like the pages you visit, how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, and your approximate location (city or region, not your exact address). Google processes this data on my behalf. I use it only to improve the site and never to identify you personally.

5. What I do not do

  • I do not sell your personal information. I never have.
  • I do not add you to a marketing list because you bought something. If I ever start a mailing list it will be opt-in.
  • I do not use your project files to train an AI model.
  • I do not run advertising trackers on this site.

6. Who else sees your data

Only the services I need to run the business:

  • My web host — Spaceship. They store everything on this site.
  • Payment processors — WooPayments (Stripe), Stripe, PayPal and Amazon Pay. They handle payments.
  • Email — emails from this site are sent using EmailKit and WP Mail SMTP.
  • Print suppliers — for business cards and flyers, your artwork and shipping address go to the printer. a commercial print partner in the United States
  • Any software I use to do the work itself — Seedance, Higgsfield, Suno and Adobe Photoshop.

I will also hand over data if the law requires it.

7. Cookies and embedded content

This site uses cookies. The Cookie Policy explains which ones and why.

Pages on this site embed content from YouTube, Spotify and Apple Music, and link to Amazon. Embedded players can set their own cookies and see your IP address as soon as the embed loads, exactly as if you had visited that site directly. I have no control over that and their privacy policies apply.

8. How long I keep things

  • Order records — for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
  • Photographs and project files — see section 3.
  • Contact form enquiries — two years.
  • Reviews — until you ask me to remove them.
  • Server logs — for my web host’s standard log retention period.

9. Your rights

Whoever and wherever you are, you can email me and ask to:

  • See what I hold about you
  • Correct anything that is wrong
  • Have it deleted
  • Get a copy in a portable format
  • Object to a particular use of it

I will not charge you for this and I will not treat you differently for asking. I will respond within 30 days.

Some of this I cannot always do — I have to keep order and tax records for a set period even if you ask me to delete them. I will tell you if that applies.

10. Children

This site is not intended for children under 13 and I do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent me something, email me and I will delete it.

11. Security

This site runs over HTTPS and I keep WordPress and its plugins updated. No website can promise perfect security, but I take it seriously and I do not keep data I do not need.

If there is ever a breach affecting your information, I will tell you.

12. Changes

If this page changes materially I will update the date at the top. For a significant change I will say so on the site.

13. Contact

Any question about this page, or any request under section 9: email@onestopshopdesignz.com. Or use the contact form.
